A099 Elgin Mint 14k Gold 16 Size Hunters Case, circa 1910. 16 size, 14k gold, fully engraved with swirls, heart frames, scallops and flowers, name and 1910 date on the cuvette. Metal: 14K gold Dial. Enamel, Roman numerals, red five minutes, gold filigree hands. 14698275, three finger bridge, nickel, 17 jewels, adjusted. Elgin, 90.3 grams gross weight. Case is in like new mint condition, dial is superb, movement good and running. Servicing recommended since it has been in storage for a long time. It is in working condition. There is a small chip on 7 O’clock enamel under the glass. The glass is in good condition (see the last two photos). Winds and sets smooth. All hinges open and close the way they should. The case looks good, has a few small dents and dings and some ware , which is normal for its age. The front lid springs open nice. The other 2 lids snap closed. The glass is very nice, its a Lever set and stem wind.
