50mm (5cm) across case without crown. A stunning gold filled full hunter. The case is a Dennison MOON 20 year guaranteed (from date of manufacture) each part is made from 2 plates of 10ct gold with a plate of composition between them, vastly superior to electroplating which only deposits a very thin layer of gold. Good condition case, very clean and bright throughout, all hinges are good, all covers open and close well. Front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should. Front and rear covers open to 90 degrees. Fantastic condition case, no marks or scratches worth mentioning. The dial is bright and clean, no hairline cracks or chips, signed “Waltham”. Arabic numbers, gold hands. The movement is a Waltham model 1899 dating to 1907, damascened, gold adjuster star, gold center wheel, running well and keeps good time. Good acrylic crystal in great condition. Great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. Recently Fully Serviced, including modern alloy “unbreakable” mainspring. Presented in a fitted, red velvet pocket watch box with brass trim. Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced with a modern alloy type and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day. I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. Waltham Mass full hunter pocket watch. Weight: 115.5 Grams. Condition: Antique condition, the movement works perfectly fine when laid face down, if the watch is laid face up the movement stops? . No physical damage other then the usual signs of use over the years, no damage to glass or dial and movement very clean. Unsure if box is original as not a tight fit but a very nice box as a stand alone piece. The rear of the case shuts very tight and hard to open so will leave slightly open, button operates perfectly fine to open the viewing dial.
