It is worth noting that some movements have superfluous overhangs in the main plate. These could be easily turned, cutting down the diameter of the movement. When preparing antique movements for marriage watches we strongly recommend using a professional watchmaker familiar with the process. Beautiful 18ct Yellow Gold Patek Philippe. Comes with presentation case though I can’t guarantee this is original as there are no markings it is definitely of the period, ivory/pearl inlay etc. Comes with an extract from the archives (directly from PP). Movement in excellent condition and running. Case is beautiful with the original engraved dove and patterns in mint condition. It has obviously had very little polishing done which is both rare and desirable as there is little to no fading. Dial and glass in excellent condition with only very minor marks/scratches that come with age. Only minor blemish is the case ring which isn’t perfectly parallel to the case though this hasn’t arisen from direct damage i. Knocks so not sure why its like this, very minor though and as seen from the pictures hardly noticeable. Dimensions are 40mm x 57mm (top to bottom) x 13mm (thickness).
