1879 Elgin Nat’l Pocket Coin Silver Case

Elgin National Watch Co. Bay State Imperial Coin Silver Case. Estimated production year: 1879. Watch Weight: 164 grams. The crystal shows scratches. The back of the case has small indentations. There is a name etched on the inside of the case back. The case back doesn’t close tight. The watch crown winds. The second hand has some movement, but it stops after a short time. The watch needs to be serviced and repaired. See photos and video.

Made in Switzerland for Hamilton Watch Co. It winds, sets and runs, keeps decent time, but service history is unkown. 100% original patina, unpolished case, typical wear and scratches. Measures 46 mm wide X 50 mm tall X 10 mm thick; it weighs 51 grams. We work very hard to describe our items at the best of our knowledge, ask any questions if you are not sure.
