Watch Company 51mm Case Manual Wind White Dial Pocket Watch -REPAIR. I wind it but it’s not working. The gold plating has worn off so it’s down to the color brass. The inner cover is loose. Aside from that nice pocket watch. They may work but may need repair, service or cleaning for them to work properly. Ask questions and i will be happy to help. The Item in this lot is in used condition. It’s old so has some visible wear, scratches and discoloration due to age and everyday use.
Elgin National Watch Co. Bay State Imperial Coin Silver Case. Estimated production year: 1879. Watch Weight: 164 grams. The crystal shows scratches. The back of the case has small indentations. There is a name etched on the inside of the case back. The case back doesn’t close tight. The watch crown winds. The second hand has some movement, but it stops after a short time. The watch needs to be serviced and repaired. See photos and video.
Pocket Watch The original owner of this pocket watch was a train engineer in the 1800s. It has been in his family ever since. The white porcelain face says Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. Inside case is marked 1982 and P. Co and it looks lie a name is inscribed in script above this. The key is included. It does not run and is missing the second hand. Inside it says M. Ogden and has a Serial # 268556 made in 1874? GM Wheeler Elgin 4996673 Pioneer Waltham Coin 8 3100 There are a lot of lightly hand-etched numbers and letters carved inside the case. There are a few scratches and chips to the crystal. A light buildup of dirt/dander in crevasses. The silver is tarnished and the case has a number of dents. The hands seem to move smoothly but please assume the watch DOES NOT WORK. Completely untested- watches are not my specialty. Please inspect photos closely for fine details. Total weight of 5.63 ounces or 159.6 grams. Most pieces have been very gently cleaned.
