ALL ORIGINAL HAMILTON 992B RAILWAY SPECIAL, FACTORY HAMILTON RAILROAD GOLD FILLED CASE, RUNNING. A very nice running example of a Hamilton 992B 21 jewel Railroad Grade Pocket Watch. Serial number C216606 circa 1948 railroad pocket Watch. Watch runs and sets but I have nit checked it for timekeeping. Great bold Arabic double sunk original Hamilton bold Arabic Railroad dial and in very nice condition and is mint to near mint. A great double sunk glass enamel dial. Nice original hands and bold box car Arabic numerals. Case is a very nice marked Hamilton original factory Railroad case, very attractive case with light wear. Has small dent on back that is hard to see. Case is in nice condition with little brass just light wear wear on back and some hard to see scratches and some hard to see edge wear to brass. A nice clean example of a 1948 vintage 992B railroad watch. A great example of the model 992B that is very high grade adjusted to 6 positions with alloy hairspring and balance wheel, a very high-quality 21 Jewel railroad Watch with gold train timing screws and jewel settings. 992B w/Model 9 Case. 16 size 21 jewel open face lever-set Grade 992B pocket watch. An attractive example which is highlighted by a scarce Hamilton Model 9 gold-filled factory case. This Model 9 case style was made by Star Watch Case Co. For Hamilton in the 1940s and was not well known to the collecting community until an example with original box was discovered a few years ago that identified the style as Model 9. Interestingly the Model 9 number had previously been used by Hamilton for a different case style made in the 1920s/30s by Fahys which is also rare. Movement is nicely finished with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, gold center, striped pattern nickel damaskeen, and an Elinvar balance assembly. Dial is sunk-seconds enamel. Movement serial number is C58924. Running and a nice looking movement with excellent color and luster. Dial is beautiful with only a few mild glaze scratches within its seconds-register. Case is attractive with a strong in hand look and feel but is showing light wear with some very narrow slivers of wear to brass to its band. Offered for sale is an antique Hamilton #992B (USA) open-faced pocket watch, probably ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2) diameter. This watch features a Keystone “Mainliner” 10k yellow gold filled screw back and bezel case with a coin edge pattern around the edge, a 21-jewel adjusted grade 992B stem-wind lever-set movement, and a double-sunk porcelain Montgomery dial with Arabic numerals and black spade hands. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry such as minor dings on the caseback and very light brassing (barely noticeable). The bow is tight. The Montgomery dial is in excellent condition except for two very minor hairlines. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. Hamilton 992B – 21J Railroad Grade, Stainless Steel Case – Ca: 1962. Nice condition and strong running 992B Hamilton railway special pocket watch. Movement is a high-grade movement that is adjusted to temperature and six position with gold jewel settings and timing screws. Compensation balance and hair spring. Movement is in good running order and seems to keep time but I have not checked in over a long period. A late model Hugh grade 992B. 1962 Hamilton 992B RR Pocket Watch 21j 16s Monty Dial BOC 10K GF Case Serviced! Hamilton Railway Special 992B 21j 16s Montgomery Dial Original 10K Gold Filled Case in Excellent Running Condition. Out of my personal collection, Hamilton 992B, 21 Jewel, 16 Size, adjusted to 6 positions and Adjusted to Temperature. The pendant wind and lever set movement is running strong and keeping good time. The Minty single-sunk Montgomery dial, no cracks, no hairline or chips whatsoever. The Arabic numerals are in excellent condition. Has Black Spade and whip Steel hands in excellent condition. Has NOS thick crystal. Housed in a nice BOC case made for Hamilton W. By Wadsworth 10K gold-filled, it is in excellent condition with no brassing, a tiny dent on the outer edge of the caseback, a few pinheads nick on the case body and normal pocket scratches. Inside of the caseback showing inscription, reads (Terry Harstad – Chicago). Both covers glide on/off smooth and seal tight. Has a nice original Hamilton Railroad Crown and a moveable bow.
