1803 Verge fusee silver pair cased pocket watch W Blew London. Approx 77.5 mm high. Hallmarked case is Birmingham 1803. William Blew worked in london from 1797. Approx 137.4 grams in total. Examined by yours truly, a specialist in antique and vintage watches since 1971: Good running order, keeping time, excellent movement condition overall, good color definition, few microfine scratches; dial with single hairline at 2 as shown; hour and seconds hands pristine new old stock, original minute near mint; case shows light wear, profuse microfine scratches, scratches and scuffs around bezel, one dent at base of case, no other dings; bow pivots freely, cups worn, crown shows light wear; somewhat loose glass crystal.
