Antique Verge Solid Silver Consular Case J Baron A Longni Pocket Watch Working. This is a fine example of a French Consular Cased Pocket watch made popular and supposedly preferred by Napoleon and probably made around the late 18th or early 19th Century. The front border has been finely engraved further showing the quality throughout the piece. The movement seems to be working although I have only tested it over a short time could probably do with a clean and service. Hallmarked: NB & French mark as photoed. Width: 4.5cm approx.
