This is a Waltham Pocket Watch, made in 1896, with a 14-karat gold case, in immaculate condition. This watch was examined by a certified master watch maker, and he gave the following information. 16′-size hunting case watch (referring to the two lids), made in Waltham, Mass. Inner cover is also 14-karat. Model 88, grade 28, 15-jewel. Needs cleaning by a watchmaker, setting stem is frozen with old grease. This heirloom watch is approximately 53mm in diameter, 65mm to the top of the stem. It weighs 130 grams.
