Item – Pocket Watch. Model – Open Face. Movement – Pin lever Mechanical wind. 900 silver case that is a Niello. Case measurement – 48.9 mm diameter. Condition- Running 4 minutes slow on an 18-hour test. Nice Dial, Nice Hands, Case is nice, good crystal, Winds and set time easily and it is a pin set. Info – I have timed many of the watches but you must know that when these watches travel in the Post Office sometimes, they are bumped a lot. That timing may change. Service history is unknown. Serial on movement #1240673, circa 1879. Manual wind (key wind, key set from front) 7 jewels Model 1876, Grade “Home Watch” Original 12 porcelain dial, 41.8mm, no name, excellent, no hairlines. Open face case, silver, Chester 1878, maker E. Good original unbuffed condition All covers/bezel snaps OK. Personal engraving on dustcover. Beveled glass crystal is in excellent condiition, very clear, looks NOS. Measures 47 mm wide, 56 mm tall, 16 mm thick. Total weight of watch: 92 grams. Not guaranteed or tested as waterproof, like any vintage watch.
