Overall good condition, patriot eagle brass, nailed into place, velvet / felt like material lines the inside. Diamter of hole is 1.5 inches (front hole). Antique LONGINES Wooden BOX for Pocket Watches Mother of Pearl Emblem 1900 EMPTY. Hardwood, with a mother-of-pearl emblem on the lid and a button on the front to open/lock the lid. Inside, the lid is lined with burgundy silk, signed “Longines, ” and displays European Grand Prix medals. The base is lined with burgundy velvet, and includes a pocket watch holder, which is movable and also has a stand on the back to use the box as a watch display. 11,3 cm wide. Pocket watch holder diameter. Condition: Overall good for a 120-year-old item, showing signs of use and aging on the wood on the outside, but the lid, hinges, and lock are in working order.
