Antique 1760′s Butt London Sterling Double Case Pocket Watch For Repair

Outer case is in excellent condition for age. Snaps open and close very nicely. Inner case is in very functional condition with a few small dings. It is hallmarked for sterling. Watch is made by Butt, London. It is not in working order. Watch face has a few small cracks and there is a crack in the crystal. Hands seem to be in nice condition and move freely. Key, knife, and chain include. They are not original to the Watch. Please use photos for further description. Any questions please ask. Thank you for looking.

Ornate Ladies Gold Filled Pocket Watch Hunter Case Antique NEEDS REPAIR

Estate Fresh and As Found. The case is gorgeous – has a small amount of normal light wear. The golf filled plating is excellent albeit a couple of very small spots of wear. The movement needs repair, not sure what the issue is but tend to think that is needs a new spring. The crown pulls out a little hard but not that bad, it sets just as it should. The porcelain dial face has a hairline crack located in the area between the VII and XI Roman Numerals. The case opens and closes as it should. As stated the movement needs repair, its not working. Someone has gone into the movement before I got it so it needs more that lubrication. Case tests 14k gold. Not marked same as others I’ve seen offered. Feel free to ask any questions.
