1894 production year Elgin Grade 117, Model 2 Pocket Watch, Sidewinder. 6 size, 7 jewel. Full Hunter Gold filled Philadelphia Victory case with floral engraving, on front and back with initials. Engraving on inside cover as well. Beautifully engraved floral case, slight ding on backside and missing bow. Enamel dial is in very good condition missing crystal and hour hand. Pocket watch is not currently running.

Sets time with ease. The case is in amazing condition. Rare configuration and beautiful engravings on this CWC case!

Canadian Private label: Ryrie Brothers, Toronto. Estate find, as found. Watch is currently NOT RUNNING. (fully wound, balance seems to move freely, dirty) SERVICE HISTORY UNKNOWN. Technical details: Longines Swiss made, open face, 16s, manual wind. Pat, +16831 on balance cock (Raquette Brisebard patent) Retailed by Ryrie Bros. Toronto, signed on dial and movement. Serial #1213563 (ca 1900) The 42mm porcelain DIAL in nice original condition. No hairlines, but dirty. Gold filled case, some wear on body side; 52 mm wide, 64 mm tall, 15 mm thick. Acrylic crystal is a newer replacement and has scratches (would suggest a NOS glass one) Watch weighs 96 grams. PLEASE CHECK MY PHOTOS CAREFULLY. Thank you for your interest. 800 key wind pocket watch ornate hinged case, not currently running, no key.

Please view all photos. Requires servicing or Parts – I’ve tried to wind but the time just keeps adjusting. Don’t have any knowledge with watches but there is a Problem with the crown when trying to wind or adjust time. Watch will run for a few minutes at most then stop. Crystal cracked as per 3rd photo. Engraved appears to be “LC”. Appears it could be original leather strap which one side has separated (needs restitching) as per last photograph. Watch Company 51mm Case Manual Wind White Dial Pocket Watch -REPAIR. I wind it but it’s not working. The gold plating has worn off so it’s down to the color brass. The inner cover is loose. Aside from that nice pocket watch. They may work but may need repair, service or cleaning for them to work properly. Ask questions and i will be happy to help. The Item in this lot is in used condition. It’s old so has some visible wear, scratches and discoloration due to age and everyday use.

The watch is wound too tight. The case measures 54.7mm wide. The back case cover has a Stag engraved on it (see picture 2). The case shows wear and has some tarnish. The dial is marked Hampden Watch Co. There is a crack between the 5 and 6 o’clock positions (see picture 5). The inside of the front and back covers are marked Warranted 14k E. Co which makes this case a gold filled case. The inside of the movement cover is marked with a flag with a star in the center of it. The movement is marked Dueber Grand, Canton, Ohio, 17 Jewels.
