Fairly scarce Rockford 545 Railroad pocket watch, only 5500 or so are known to have been produced, (some estimates are much lower). This 16 Size watch is in a Keystone’J. Boss’ 14K yellow gold filled double hinge case. The 21 Jewel Fully Adjusted Class A Railroad Grade movement winds & sets smoothly and runs strong. Correct thick glass beveled crystal. Watch has a clean appearance inside and out. Case shows very shallow indentions to the back, difficult to see…. Use the zoom for a super close-ups. Micrometric regulator, double roller. Railroad approved, serial # 23177725. Case # 7239988 14k yellow gold filled in excellent condition. Cleaned, oiled, adjusted and regulated this watch will keep railroad required time. Dust cover is engraved from Mary to William Christmas 1904. Inside cover has trade mark for Fahys watch case company. Inside of dust cover has letters and numbers etched from when previous service’s were done. Also has “WARRANTED TO WEAR PERMANTELY” STAMPED. There are some scratches inside both covers. Watch chain is included. Watch is in working order. Original glass crystal has been replaced with plastic crystal.
