Condition-Not Running the Balance Wheel is Good though. There is dents on the inner and outer case. There is scratches and hazing on the crystal. It has some discoloration on the minute hand. This is an antique Elgin 10K solid gold pocket watch 15J with ornate full hunter case from 1903 in working condition. The white dial has Arabic numbers in blue enamel, plus a second hand and gold dots to mark the minutes. Very minor ding inside back cover, not visible on outside. The watch is in working condition and keeps good time, but it comes from an estate and probably has not been cleaned for a long time. There are no 10K marks, but the metal tests 10K. Cased is numbered 44401 and has a crown mark inside a rectangle which I have not been able to identify. Please ask any questions before purchasing. Estate Antique ladies Hunting Case Pocket Watch. Stem wind and pin set (AKA Nail set). The case has a gorgeous multi colored enamel cover. It is of a lady with a dog and a basket of flowers sitting outside. The case is set with 5 flat rose cut diamonds. High Grade swiss movement. 10 Jewels or Rubies. Back of the case is monogramed in gold with the initials JSH. It does not run, appears to be over wound. Balance Staff is OK. One side of the case is stamped 18K 205 and the other is 57205. Offered is an antique Waltham 18 size 17 jewel ornate gold filled or plated hunter case pocket watch in unrestored running condition. The pendant wind lever set movement is running strong but no guarantee for long term reliability or accuracy is offered as I dont know the service history.
