Boston pocket watch in Nickel Silver case Illinois. Rare vintage pocket watch. 44052, made by the E. Boston has a gilded movement, pendant set and is kept in an. Nickel Silver case with crystal. This series IV model was patented in 1868 and was made until 1883. Face has lovely large Roman numerals with minutes marked in smaller Arabic numerals and a secondary seconds dial also with Arabic numerals. All three hands feature blue tinted steel, looking very striking in bright daylight. Additionally, the engraved movement is gilded and screw heads are decorated with either blue or red tints making the interior of the movement a delight for the eyes.
