Movement is a Zenith Swiss movement with 15 jewells. Dial looks fine with no chips. Good exthick glass crystal. Case appears to be nickel but no marks that I recognize. 1915 Hampden, Canton Ohio U. 18 size, 17 jewels pendant wind set antique pocket watch in excellent looking & running condition. The watch was professionally serviced recently, runs strong and keeps good time. The serial number on the Model 3 full plate movement is 3034851 which dates it to 1915; it has 17 jewels, a micrometric regulator, a patented safety pinion, intricate damaskeening and fancy gold washed lettering. The original porcelain enameled single sunk dial is in good condition, has a small chip near the bottom. The deep blued steel hands are in excellent condition. The Keystone Watch Case Co. Polished Silveroid (nickel silver) case is in excellent original condition, no dents or monogram. The hinges are good and the covers shut tight. The brass bow and nickel plated crown are in very good original condition. The new old stock amber colored acrylic crystal is in fine condition. The case measures approximately 2-3/16 inches in diameter (not including the bow & crown) x 3/4 inch thick including the crystal. This is a nice restored antique timepiece for your collection and use, also makes an excellent gift! My pictures have many unavoidable shadows, reflections and some dust spots that will be cleaned; the watch looks fine in person! C1902 Hamilton 940 18 Size 21 Jewels. Cosmetically Extra Fine Dial & Movement (see Pictures). Good Timekeeping see Testing. The Hamilton 940 grade pocket watch was for many years the company’s centerpiece watch for the Railway Market. It featured “Extra Fine Ruby Jewels, Patent Motor Barrel, Adjusted to Temperature & Isochronism and 5 Positions, Double Roller Escapement and a Micrometric Regulator”. Lids screw on & off correctly. Crystal is scratch free. The gold train & jewel setting movement is clean with No discoloration and has no service tool marks. The engine turning decoration pattern is all intact. The gold letter filling is all there with no imperfections. All setting and winding functions work positively and correctly. Dial is exceptional and has 1 hard to see hairline at 1:00. The watch was observed running and carried in a pocket for 24 hours; the last 8 hours resting on a desk. The watch lost 10 seconds during the 24 hour hours. Further regulation of the watch I’m sure would improve it’s accuracy even more. I have no history of the watch and assume that it’s due for professional serving and adjustments.
