A Very nice Sterling Silver pair case verge fusee Pocket watch. With champlevé dial, made arround 1700 by the watchmaker. The beautiful movement with Egyptian pillars winds smoothly and runs with. A great motion in all positions, keeps reasonable time for a more than. 300 year old verge watch, the movement is signed J. The watch has a beautiful pierced Champlevé dial, also signed: J. The crystal glass is mint, nos. The Sterling silver cases are both in a reasonable condition considering there age. All covers closing nice and tight, both cases have many small dents, user marks. Across 55mm, including bow 67mm. Overall this is a very nice genuine verge watch made around 1700. In a fine working condition. Will be delivered with a fitting key, and an extra key set of 14 pcs. This is a very nice vintage Hamilton. It is 16 size, open face, stem wind, lever set, 21 jewel, grade 992B. Serial #C396577 dates it to 1953. The movement is very good and runs well. I have not had it cleaned or serviced, so I cannot guarantee it to be completely reliable. The yellow gold filled case is plain, and has no brassing or monograms. It is high quality, and made by Keystone. A nice watch for a gift, or for the collector.
