Here’s a fairly uncommon 18 size Hamilton 941 with two tone special finish. The original porcelain multi colored dial is signed Hamilton. It has a light blue center with a darker blue border that is much more handsome. In hand than in the pictures. There is faint hairlines at 3. The fancy guilt hands. Are in fine condition and the crystal appears to be glass and scratch free. The movement is spectacular. There is no wash out to the gold inlay. The hardware is all in very nice shape. It winds superb and runs strong. It keeps accurate time. The Fahy’s No. 1 Conquerer heavy box hinge case is in fine condition. Degrees and close properly. Engravings are still very sharp and there. Enamel Dial, bright white with no chips cracks or hairlines, Black Roman Numerals, outer chapter has black stick minute markers, the matching hands are blued steel, sunken sub dial at bottom, and the Elgin Banner Logo at the top of the dial is being held and flown by the image of a bird…. This magnificent 14 Karat Gold Case has a raised multi color gold bird on both front and back covers, the back cover has a very nice quality European Cut Diamond approximately 1/10 of a carat, the top half of each cover is high polished, all hinges function properly, all covers snap tightly closed, the case is stamped 14K and tests to that content. The watch has been recently cleaned, serviced, overhauled, polished, and is in running order. It would make an excellent addition to any collection, or just a special piece for that special person.
