A beautiful multi color 14k gold Vallon pocket watch. The dial and movement are marked Vallon. The dial has a couple of hairlines. Case is marked Warranted 14k U. Inner bezel is marked 14k and a number 501721. The watch runs very weakly and will definitely need servicing as it stops after a minute or so. The crystal is not attached and loose. The case measures approx 34 inches in diameter. The Total including the movement weighs 30.7 grams not including the plastic crystal. The inside of the case has a few holes where the outside dots have been soldered, please see the detailed photos. Case is very pretty and I believe there are 4 colors of gold used, yellow, pink, green and white. The shield on one front has a monogram on it. I have no idea what the net gold weight on this is. It has 4 sub dials featuring the month, day, date and moonphase, together with seconds hand. I have tested the watch and all functions are working, each one has its own press button for setting, these are also working. These change automatically when the watch is running. The watch is running fast (about 15 minutes a day) and could certainly do with some regulation and fine tuning. Beautiful ornate ivory coloured dial with four sub dials and a total of six hands. The general condition is very good with just a very small chip on the sub seconds dial. Excellent solid silver two tone Swiss hallmarked triple hinge ornate case. This is a very attractive and well made case in excellent condition without any dents or scratching. Stamped with the silver quality 0.800 the diameter size is 50mm and 71mm if you include the bow.
