Working Antique Swiss Remontoire Pocket Watch in Silver Case. I personally like the antique European watches. But I cant hold on to every one i see. This watch runs healthy and strong! Not tested for long term accuracy. Nice clean 15 jewel pin set movement. Press and hold the little button and turn the stem to set the time. Case is silver, likely 800 to 925 purity. The engravings on the inner cover (not silver) translate to. “Straight line anchor” describing the escapement. No idea who the maker is. Shows only slight wear. See photos for condition. 1902 New York Standard watch NOT WORKING. Dial is cracked (not the glass). It does not wind up, needs repair. The case is from Philadelphia watch co. Gold filled but it does not have markings of what kind of gold was used. It has the initials HCE. It’s a beautiful case. Listing as fair since the watch is not working, the case has some signs of wear as pictured.

Antique American Waltham 1902 GF Hunting Case Pocket Watch ETC10274. Here is an American Waltham gold filled 6 size pocket watch serial #11517518. The movement is a Lady Waltham model 1890 that was made in 1902. It is a three-quarter plate 16 jewel stem set nickel movement in a gold-filled hunting case. The watch is about 50 millimeters or 1 7 /8 inches across the front of the case so its big. Condition wise, the watch case has Victorian scrollwork on both sides and is in excellent condition showing little wear or use so it’s really nice. I see a tiny hairline between 7 and 8 o’clock on the watch dial which does not affect the appearance or performance of the watch. The watch is in good restorable condition and can be used just as it is. The mechanical (winding type) (122) year old watch is fully wound and tries to run but stops, so it does not run. It does, however, continue to run when I put winding pressure on the winding stem indicating that it is fixable. Note: carrying or wearing these types of mechanical watches helps keeps them running on time.
