Antique Circa 1877 American Waltham Co. Appleton Tracy, Measuring 52.5mm diameter by 16.8mm thick this large, antique, Hunter Case Pocket Watch has the serial number 993007, which dates this watch to 1877. It is a size 18 and has 15 jewels. The main spring and hair spring are in working order, but this watch will not stay running for more than 10 seconds, before it stops. This is a thick, 18K hunter case pocket watch, which weighs 109.7 grams. We guarantee this watch is at least 53grams of 18K gold. Size 3/0 Waltham pocket watch featuring a solid 14K gold case. This may very well be the most pristine case we’ve ever had, this watch was on a necklace and has hardly case wear at all. I wound it three cranks and it ran for a few hours, it’s been on my desk a couple days and it runs anywhere from about 20 seconds to a couple hours. We actually knew the former owner and this watch hadn’t seen the light of day in at least 25 years. Estate fresh, has not been cleaned. About 1 5/16 diameter. Needs the movement cleaned. If you have a preference you must let us know before we print a label. We know some buyers do like a particular service so we offer the choice. Unless you ask we will use the most convenient option.
