There are 4- 16 size pocket watch cases for reuse or refinning. Three have markings and one is unbranded. From experience I believe 3 are gold filled and one is questionable but is engine turned and yellow gold color. All need bezels and crystals. Hinges are pretty good but not mint. Very usable group for reuse. Refinning would not be my first choice.

A Great watch to carry everyday. Its a 7 jewel movement, 18SZ Runs good. It was just serviced, cleaned and oiled, keeps good time. The #s on the movement are, 20103568, made in 1917. This is a big watch, it measures from side to side 61.25 mm. The dial is a big number railroad dial. With a couple of light hairlines, you can see in the pictures. The glass is ok has a few light scratches.. Winds and sets smooth. The case looks good, has a few small dents and dings, which is normal for its age. Its a stem set and stem wind. These Big watches are getting harder and harder to find, get them while you can.
I took pictures before cleaning the crystal so I retook the first two which show the watch with the crystal cleaned up. The smudges on the watch in the later pics show before I cleaned it. This watch needs a little TLC. It runs when tapped but stops after a few seconds. The serial number on case, twice, is 114522. The case needs to be cleaned but the crystal and dial are quite nice. I do see something on the dial which may be able to be cleaned off but I can’t get the front off to try. The case measures 2 in diameter and the watch has a very hefty weight to it.
LARGE HIGHLY FANCY 14K GOLD HUNTER CASE ELGIN POCKET WATCH DOUBLE ROLLER. I took this to a jeweler before listing who thought the timing might be off in this watch – he was not sure – wanted to disclose this information – thanks. 118183 are the serial numbers engraved inside front cover – this is very hard to read and hard to photograph.
