This beautiful Railroad grade Hamilton 992B, Winds, Sets & Runs with amazing accuracy it was serviced on 6/22/20. It Has a beautiful clean sparkling movement, it is lever set, adjust to 6 positions, and yes Adjusts to Temperature. Nice double sunk Hamilton dial with big numbers, The Dial is showing a very faint hairline from the center arbor toward the second counters and a pinhead chip at the bottom of the 12 marker, nothing major. Excellent Black Steel hands, the crystal is showing some light scratches, housed in a beautiful Wadsworth 10K Gold Filled BOC Case. Both covers glide on-off nicely. (The case has your normal pocket scratches and a slight dent which is extremely hard to see not unless reflecting it against the light) Nice crown and bow, No Brass is showing this is a nice case. In this listing we are happy to present this gorgeous Hampden 14K Solid Gold Hunter Case Pocket Watch with tri-color floral arrangement that comes in the highly rare framed motif. In terms of Solid Gold Pocket Watches with Tri-Color adornment the ones with framed scenes are very highly sought after for their excellent execution and refined artistry and often commands much higher prices than run-of-the-mill specimen. On this particular Hampden Watch Co. Example the flowers are bluish-silver in color which is rarely seen in tri-color casework. All of the flowers are masterfully etched and engraved. Case condition is excellent so all of the floral adornment in tri-color is still sharp and overall it is just a piece of fine art. Condition-wise the watch runs but we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity as we don’t know its service history. Antique pocket watches like this specimen will likely need full service to run normally, it is the sole decision and responsibility of end-user to service or not. We will not accept return based on claim of functional issues. Cosmetically as already mentioned the case is in wonderful shape with no dings or dents and the tri-color parts are all sharp and 3-dimensional to the touch. The enamel dial has a section of cracks at 2-3 oclock. It is quite simple to find a replacement dial or entire movement to remedy such issues. Dustcover has been personalized.
