Here is a very clean Waltham 14k SOLID gold Hunter’s Case pocket watch. Check out how crisp the engraving design is on this pocket watch case!!! This Waltham watch dates back to 1888 per the SIGNED movement’s serial # 3,622,125!!! The 35.4 mm case does not look much different then when it was new in 1888. Most watch cases show some wear from being carried for all of those years. This one must of sat in a drawer most of its life. This Waltham Hunter’s Case watch has a clean SIGNED dial with the sacred heart religious heart on the dial. My research tells me this is a Seaside model and is 9 jewel. Moderl 1882 and is considered to be a size 1 pocket watch. This watch does run but will probably need to be serviced. I believed the movement is gummed up. The lids and the hinges on this antique Waltham watch are good. The crystal is good. Hard to believe this Waltham is as old as it is. Weighs 41.9 grams or 26.9 pennyweigh. I have no service records for 92 year old Elgin Hunter’s case pocket watch. It is s old as you see it pictured here. I sell all my watches as-is and as found.
