Pocket Watch Case

This antique pocket watch is made by ELGIN Watch Co IN 1909, size 0,7 JEWELS, serial number 13580803, clean dial, clean crystal and clean movement, lever set, winds, sets and runs! There is a scratch mark onthe inside of the case which can be polished out if it bothers u, I would leave it as is. The design on both sides of the case is intricate floral leaves on one side and blank cartouche on the other side, not monogrammed , measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/4 inch , weighs 31 grams. This is a very nice pocket watch for the collector, looks like seldom used and recently serviced in 2016. Civil War Pocket Watch. PS Bartlett model pocket watch. What a fabulous find from the Civil War era. This is probably the most original Civil War era watch that I’ve ever seen. The 4 ounce coin silver case is in good condition, no dents or scratches. The porcelain dial is almost flawless with one tiny hairline at the 1:30 position. Look at the original blued tapered hands. The fat beveled crystal is in great condition with no chips or scratches. The serial number of this watch puts it at a manufacture date from 1864 to Feb 1865.
