Beautiful 1928 17 Jewel Elgin 16 Size Pocket Watch. Nickel Movement winds and sets Smoothly. The Movement is housed in a Beautiful 20 Year gold filled Art Deco Case with no Wear through and a nice stiff bow. The blue steel hands are perfect and the Blind Man’s Dial is near perfect wit tiny tight hairlines near the center bottom. Model 7 was produced for about 20 years. The watch design was very durable and a Great RR Time keeper. This movement has been Ultra sonically Cleaned, Lubricated, and Adjusted to keep Great RR Time. Hello and welcome to another of my listings! Today for your consideration is this excellent circa 1894 Elgin Pocket Watch in a great and heavy high quality 14k solid gold Solidarity Case!! It does show minor wear from use over the last 130 years, please see my photos and description for details!! The watch itself is currently running well but has not been timed! It may require service for reliable daily use. The movement is an 11j Model 3 that dates to 1894, it is an 16 size hunting configuration. It is about 113.80 grams completely assembled. The dial has at least 2 noted hairlines, one between the 12 and 1 markets going down and another sweeping across from the 12 to the 10 marker, neither are terribly noticeable, hands retain almost all of their blueing! The case opens to a crisp 90 degrees it appears. It is not monogrammed, just fabulous craftsmanship on this case! Overall a great heavy 14k solid gold 16 size Elgin Men’s pocket watch, that would be a nice piece to give as a gift or to have in the collection!! Thank you for looking and best of luck!!!
