Pocket Watch Case

Up for sale today is an antique 1870 Waltham PS Bartlett model 1857 pocket watch with a Fahys ore silver case. This watch is currently running but has not been tested for time accuracy or power reserve. See photos for condition. Watch is missing the second hand. Waltham Vanguard Model 1908 from 191516 size 23 jewel adjusted 6 positions serial # 20037984 in a Fortune GF OF #16 in a circle symbol serial #1382285. Note brassing on case and hairline at 5. I have no service history other than I have run it through an ultrasound and oiled the necessary locations. It winds and ticks for up to 40 hours but requires adjusting for optimum performance. I picked this up filthy and not operational but a good cleaning and addressing what was stopping the movement resulted in an operational watch. I have repaired the main spring and crystal. I noted the balance wheel serial differs from the movement so it was a previous repair. Note there is slight brassing of the case and hairlines at 5. This is a mechanical pocket watch not a quartz so keep in mind they are not the same for accuracy. I have dozens of watches like this that I will be listing as I finish working on them. I will get this to the post usually same day but up to 3 days depending on weekends/ holidays/ bad weather. Canada Post has labour disruptions which I have no control over but currently they are operating business as usual.

The Fancy Damascened model 83 PSB Waltham 15J 18s NOS case pocket watch is a rare antique timepiece with a nickel damaskeened model 83 Waltham movement. What makes this 4oz coin silver case by AWCO particularly interesting is the solid gold ring applied directly beneath the crown. It scans at around 10-12ct while the bale was originally gold filled most of that has worn away to the brass underneath. The case is in excellent condition with no dings or dents and all mechanisms work as they should. It just needs a crystal and a worthy movement and toys have yourself a beautiful timepiece. & Co Quality 18s 15j Pocket Watch is a vintage timepiece with a classic design featuring a mechanical (manual) movement and 15 jewels. This pocket watch movement is full hunter. Has Roman numerals on the dial. Dial does have a couple chiggers on the edge. The watch is lever set as seen in my photos. With a silver tone case color and a white porcelain dial color, this pocket watch also includes a seconds hand, thick glass crystal does have scratches and would recommend replacing and polishing the case otherwise its a decent watch. Non-magnetic is a bit more rare model. Watching is currently running within a couple of minutes a day.

Case in very good used condition. Crystal has some scratches commensurate with age over 100 years old.

Grade 1621 (size 16 / 21 jewels) from 1937. Waltham Riverside with some dial issues as shown in pictures but otherwise a lovely watch in a gold-filled case. Crystals are clear, case is in fantastic shape, dial wears its age well. I have other watches for sale as well.
