Antique pocketwatch from the U. With serial number #770263, is a 16 size, 7 jewel, grade 109, model 1895 lever set movement that dates to about 1904. The watch movement runs pretty well and keeps OK time; lever set works well. It does need a proper cleaning and servicing for more accurate time keeping. The watch dial has a couple of hairline cracks from I to IIII. The movement comes in a 20-year gold-filled B&B Royal case. Case has an embossed bird design on the back and a monogram in the cartouche on front. Case has some very light wear and a faint dent right on the monogram. Otherwise, the watch is in pretty decent condition; the pendant push opening mechanism works well. See photos for more details. The thing has about 45 or 50 grams of gold-filled, so several hundred dollars in gold content.
