Pocket Watch Case

For sale is an antique Patek Philippe pocket watch case Circa 1854. The brown leather hinged case measures 3.4″ x 3″ x 1. The inside diameter of the watch pocket is 1 & 3/8. The hinge & latch are in excellent condition. The box lining is stamped on the inside Patek, Philippe & Co, Geneva. Pleister 277 Regent St. The watch is inscribed with a date of 1854 which is how the box has been dated. The case shows some wear but still in very nice condition for the age of almost 200 years! This is a family piece and it was given as a wedding present in that year. Both the case and the watch have been evaluated by a local certified watchmaker and jeweler.

1914 Waltham Grade 620 POCKET WATCH Gold Filled Hunter Case, chain, knife. At the time of writing this, the pocket watch is ticking and can see the seconds hand moving, but stops pretty often. Moving the watch around, seems to get it running again. Watch is engraved on the front with a letter R. Back outside of case has a beautiful floral, maybe Asian theme engraving? Inside of back case has an engraving, From Parents to Robert 1934. Back and front case snap into place. The back case is difficult to pop open, I had to use a knife to pop it open. Due to the style of chain, the links can get stuck. Knife blade is broken. Is engraved with the letter R. Total weight of all items is 127 grams. Watch case is about 2 across.
