An Antique silver pocket watch chain with attached silver vests case and silver fob. The Chain clearly hallmarked on the clip with a small gothic s possibly for London, each link marked with the lion for standard silver. The vesta case smartly decorated with stripes and a central cartouche engraved with initials. Clearly hallmarked for Chester 1911. The fob with an engraved bow design and blank yellow metal cartouche, the silver reverse clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1929. 53 grams overall combined weight. Chain 31cm not including the fob and vesta. The silver chain and fob in very good condition with only some minor surface wear as expected with age. The chain clip working well. The vesta case does show some signs of wear with some minor dings and surface wear to the body, the top corner with a deeper dent as shown in closer photographs, the hinge of the vests is in very nice working condition however, clipping shut nicely and very useable. The last link is soldered in the chain joining a steel ring to the silver clip. Please see photographs for condition.
