The inside of the case back is signed PHILADELPHIA WATCH CASE CO. GUARANTEED TWENTY YEARS 8568547 – see photos. It features a train motif on the case back and is notched for a lever – see photos. The case is in very good vintage condition overall with characteristic wear on the bow, neck, crown, and a spot on the case back near 12 o’clock – see photos. 18s OF case with virtually unseen locomotive applied to back in rose gold. Your wheelhouse wants a brute like Rosy here. Front bezel and case back thread on and off as they should. An unusual train and done very well. It may be the only one and will fit many other case centers, and vice versa. Pop in whatever appropriate you have. The engine looks like it means business; perhaps going to pull a Shay out of a deep ditch?
