The Vintage Hampden Grade Special Railway 18s 23 jewel pocket watch is snap bezel display case. Watch is currently running as shown on the time graph photos. Case lids are very different to snap on and off so buyers is aware. I use been using a razor blade to pop them off. The front bezel to access the setting lever takes a lot of pressure to go back on. Crystals are all thick class. I would consider the case more of a poor quality one. The movement as it runs can see on the time graph it’s not running the best but stays running and keeps very close time till the mainspring is let down. Dial has some imperfections but in nice shape. Condition can be made by your own judgement by photos. Great piece to just displays the gorgeous movement.

Offered is a scarce Illinois 16 size 21 jewel hunter model pocket watch. The movement is currently running with good motion and keeping time within a few minutes a day. It may require a service to keep perfect time. The gold filled case is in great shape with no brassing. Bow is tight and stands straight out. Glass crystal is in good shape. The dial is in great shape with some faint lines and a small chip by the seconds area. The hands are in great shape. Overall a very nice example that would be at home in anyone’s collection. This is a fantastic watch with the raised red numerals. The case is in great shape. I know pretty much nothing about pocket watches but this one is a favorite of mine. I do believe the crystal is supposed to be on it but it has none. The watch is not running and is in need of service. The balance is not moving. Hands move when the bar is pulled out.
