1907 Split Second Rattrapante Chronograph Pocket Watch Silver Case 55.2mm PARTS. Movement Serial Number: 97585. Size: 55.2mm (Cased). Movement Est Production Year: Late 1800′s. Setting: Pin Set – 1 O’clock Position. Case Metal: 925 Sterling Silver. Case Serial Number: 118500. Case Date: 1907 London. Functionality: Winds Mainspring, Split Second Button Works, Chrono Button Almost Works Perfectly (minor bent spring – refer to pictures). High grade Swiss split second chronograph movement in 925 sterling silver case. The case dates to London 1907, though the movement appears to be a bit older than that. The split second function is under the dial. This chronograph has a unique 60 minute register as opposed to the regular 30 minutes. Split second pusher works. Chronograph pusher works, though there is a bent spring that prevents it from functioning flawlessly. Multiple parts are broken or missing, though there is enough here for a repair job that could produce a fantastic timepiece. The pictures detail what I have been able to surmise is wrong with the pocket watch, though there may be other things that are unknown to me. Movement fits well in the case, though there is some obvious wear and scratches from use and age. Crystal is cracked in a few areas. Feel free to send a message if you have any questions! Double Chronograph Split Second Rattrapante Silver Case Pocket Watch For Repair ONLY + Box. Condition as in the pictures, used with age related issues. The watch is complete, with no damaged movement parts. The timing function is in good working condition. However, the chronograph function cannot be activated. The reason is that the crown pusher is replaced or blocked and the chronograph cannot be started. Therefore, for optimal performances repair / serviced is to be done. As usually there is not a reserved price. YOU WILL DECIDE THE CORRECT PRICE! Stem wind and stem set, unmarked. Winding ok, time setting ok. The chronograph function cannot be started from the crown pusher. The side split pusher works properly. The movement comes in a 0,925 silver open face case. The case has a back cover, a dust cover and a front cover which are closing firmly, with a snap. Normal minor dents and opening scratches. The watch measure 52 mm in diameter and weights 100 grams. The white enamel dial and the hands are. In very good condition please see the pictures. Only one fine hairline on the center, between the small subdials. Outer five-minute divisions, outer 1/5 second divisions for chronograph. The dial has full set of original purple steel hands. The mineral glass is original, in very good condition. This is a very high end and unique LeCoultre Split Second pocket watch. The 14 Karat Gold case has no initials engraved on it. It has a 14KT dust cover as well as a plastic dust cover. The total weight of this watch is 144 grams. This is a Mason’s watch that achieved a very high level of Shriner. I’m sure it has not been serviced in decades – but keeps good time and split second functions and resets properly. It is a heavy case. Speaking of the case it measures 53 mm in diameter not including the crown. The thickness of the watch is 19mm. It is an impressive piece.
