A very hard to find Ruby grade nickel Springfield Hampton antique key wind key set pocket watch. Movement is not running but looks complete and I think has a good balance but it is over banked. Very interesting repeating serial number 167167. Dial is the original Hampden watch company key wind early dial and is in very nice condition but does have one faint hairline and an edge chip by the 7. Nice original spade hands. Original silveroid heavy nickel case but does have some dings in the back. A great collectible hard to find Ruby grade Hampton watch.. Please see pictures for more information and condition. Rare pocket watch has engraving inside the back of the case with name and phrase with cross tools. Dust covers shows medals and crown logo with stars. The case is not marked to Silver purity. There is a small Hallmark below the crown and bow that is unidentified. An issue with this pocket watch is that below the knife slot on the inside a tool has pierced through the case bezel. It looks like a lever set slot but is actually damage. No cracks or chips on the dial it winds and runs strong but has not been cleaned service or adjusted for. It could use a detailed polish and measures about 2.83 inches tall including the large bow and is 50.8 mm wide in diameter. A welcome addition to any collection.
