The solid 14K yellow gold case shows some light signs of use, excellent condition overall. Original white porcelain dial with black and red fancy numbered markers and blue steel hands. Excellent crystal and crown. Inside, the 21 jewel hand winding movement is running strong and keeping excellent time although its service history is unknown. Case measures 50mm wide. Offered for sale is an antique Hamilton #992B (USA) open-faced pocket watch, probably ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2) diameter. This watch features a Keystone “Mainliner” 10k yellow gold filled screw back and bezel case with a coin edge pattern around the edge, a 21-jewel adjusted grade 992B stem-wind lever-set movement, and a double-sunk porcelain Montgomery dial with Arabic numerals and black spade hands. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry such as minor dings on the caseback and very light brassing (barely noticeable). The bow is tight. The Montgomery dial is in excellent condition except for two very minor hairlines. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. Hamilton 992B – 21J Railroad Grade, Stainless Steel Case – Ca: 1962. Nice condition and strong running 992B Hamilton railway special pocket watch. Movement is a high-grade movement that is adjusted to temperature and six position with gold jewel settings and timing screws. Compensation balance and hair spring. Movement is in good running order and seems to keep time but I have not checked in over a long period. A late model Hugh grade 992B. Case is a very nice looking stainless steel case with very light wear that is the original Hamilton Stainless Steel case. A very attractive stainless steel case. Dial is the original Hamilton railway special dial but does have some some hairlines. A very nice example of an all original Hamilton Railway special railroad grade pocket watch. Size 18, 21 jewel, Gold train gold lettering, wavy damaskeening, serial number 693242, lever set, stem wind, screw back and front case, silverode, serviced, runs and keeps time. The watch, as are all of my watches, is in working condition. Of the watch when I bought it stated that it had a white gold case; however, the back plate states “base metal”. This was no garage sale income either – I could actually begin to sponsor my hobbies doing this. We emerged with some dollar store glitter, and behold – one boy’s junk is another’s. Pixie dust? Fast forward to my college years. I needed some rubber bands for a project, and while searching online, I came across a listing for bulk rubber bands at a bargain price. I couldn’t resist, so I ordered several pounds, and thus began my rubber band reseller business. It was just rubber bands, but the profit margin was incredible. Those rubber bands by no means sponsored my degree, but I did graduate as an engineer before deciding to pursue a career in public service instead. I was looking for something that would impact people, and being a patrol officer filled that hole for me. The dream expanded – so I went to night school in my off-duty hours to get licensed as a paramedic. After that, I continued working my split role as paramedic / patrol officer and taking classes in the pursuit of my next step – Physician’s Assistant school. The pursuit finally ended (after four years of additional classwork) with my acceptance into a great PA program. However, turns out the rubber band business can no longer support my educational needs! So, I started The Trouvaille Project, LLC. The Trouvaille Project (TTP) is my way of capitalizing on my skills and passions of finding and trading various items, and reselling them to you.
