For your consideration is this 1920′s Hamilton Grade 912 17 jewel adjusted open face pocket watch, with a matched Hamilton 14K gold filled case. This pocket watch was just overhauled and the mainspring was replaced 7/7/16. High grade movement is cosmetically very nice, and is runs perfect. This is an excellent find for the Elgin collector! This Elgin 16 size 21 jewel BW Raymond pocket watch is the up and down indicator model and comes in the B. Raymond model yellow gold filled case! The lever-set movement is marked: Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. Raymond 21 Jewels 34574036 Adjusted 6 Positions. The wind indicator Montgomery dial is simply marked Elgin. The dial is in fair condition, there are some hairlines. The crystal has light scratches. The case has light scratches and some dents and dings. Initials on case back. Inside of the case back is marked: B. Raymond Model Case and Timed by Elgin National Watch Co. 10K Gold Filled Wadsworth Pat’d 2.21.28 E258092. The watch will currently wind/set, and will run when wound. You have to push down hard on the crown to engage the winding. The setting lever will pull out and allow you to set the watch, but won’t stay out on its own.
