1907 Split Second Rattrapante Chronograph Pocket Watch Silver Case 55.2mm PARTS. Movement Serial Number: 97585. Size: 55.2mm (Cased). Movement Est Production Year: Late 1800′s. Setting: Pin Set – 1 O’clock Position. Case Metal: 925 Sterling Silver. Case Serial Number: 118500. Case Date: 1907 London. Functionality: Winds Mainspring, Split Second Button Works, Chrono Button Almost Works Perfectly (minor bent spring – refer to pictures). High grade Swiss split second chronograph movement in 925 sterling silver case. The case dates to London 1907, though the movement appears to be a bit older than that. The split second function is under the dial. This chronograph has a unique 60 minute register as opposed to the regular 30 minutes. Split second pusher works. Chronograph pusher works, though there is a bent spring that prevents it from functioning flawlessly. Multiple parts are broken or missing, though there is enough here for a repair job that could produce a fantastic timepiece. The pictures detail what I have been able to surmise is wrong with the pocket watch, though there may be other things that are unknown to me. Movement fits well in the case, though there is some obvious wear and scratches from use and age. Crystal is cracked in a few areas. Feel free to send a message if you have any questions! A group of 20 used antique / vintage open face and hunter pocket watch cases. For PARTS / REPAIR / SCRAP. From a watch repairman’s estate. The cases are presumed gold filled or gold plated; although a few have lost almost all the plate on the outside and. Appear as just brass. Ten of the cases have marks that I recognize as gold filled (such as’WARRANTED, 20 YEARS’). These 10 cases have a gross weight of 255 grams. The other cases have markings like an Indian head, dear head, etc. That I do not know what they stand for. The total gross weight of ALL the cases is 730 grams. Two of the hunter case are designed for key wind movements. I measured the inside diameter of what I thought was about the smallest to the largest case and got. 1.1″ to 1.76″; presumed approximately 3/0 to 18 size for American watches. Please note that some of the cases are MISSING the bezel / crystal / stem / sleeve / bow and are dirty. In good condition; although a some do have dents / light corrosion / heavy scratches and severe brassing on some.
