This antique pocket watch is in excellent+ condition, it runs and keeps accurate time. The case shows virtually no wear. The lid pops up nicely when the crown is pressed. The case snaps shut perfectly. This watch is about 117 years old. The diameter of the case is 2 inches, it is a 16 size. The movement is marked ELGIN NAT’L WATCH CO U. 15 JEWELS SAFETY PINION 8411935. The movement is very ornately engraved. The fancy porcelain dial is in excellent condition. There is a very slight hairline between the 3 and the 4, less than 1/4 long. This is a particularly beautiful watch. Check my other auctions for more vintage watches. The movement is ornately engraved. It is an 11 jewel movement. The porcelain dial is marked HAMPDEN. The dial is in perfect condition, no small cracks or chips.
