C. 1899 ELGIN Ornate Antique Hunting Case 16 size Pocket Watch with FANCY DIAL

This antique pocket watch is in excellent+ condition, it runs and keeps accurate time. The case shows virtually no wear. The lid pops up nicely when the crown is pressed. The case snaps shut perfectly. This watch is about 117 years old. The diameter of the case is 2 inches, it is a 16 size. The movement is marked ELGIN NAT’L WATCH CO U. 15 JEWELS SAFETY PINION 8411935. The movement is very ornately engraved. The fancy porcelain dial is in excellent condition. There is a very slight hairline between the 3 and the 4, less than 1/4 long. This is a particularly beautiful watch. Check my other auctions for more vintage watches.
