Amazing vintage B Crown II gold filled 0 size EMPTY CASE No. The case is Gold Filled, the front and back covers are inlay with Tri- Gold made of Green, Yellow and Rose Gold from the Black hills in very good condition. The bezel and crystal in great condition as well. All covers open and close nicely, the bow in firm. It has a nice chain 15 inches long, the pocket watch chain is gold color, not sure what it is made of. The outside covers have beautiful design made with rose gold, yellow gold, and green gold on front and back cover. Size 0s = 35.7 mm Across and 51.9 mm top to bottom and 11.4 mm thick, weight is 23.4 grams. Please see all photos and read entire description for condition. 1890 RARE PAIR CASED / ONLY 69000 MADE ELGIN G M WHEELER SILVER 18S POCKET WATCH. Ll be honest, its the first time I have ever seen an Elgin pair case pocket watch, even rarer with the large gold image of a horse & jockey on the back!!!! 1890, G M Wheeler, Grade 44, Model 5, Class 9, 18S, either 15J or 17J, stem set with date serial number 3506121. Research revealed that a total of only 69,000 were produced of this model during 1890 making it quite rare, even rare being pair cased. Working, ticking strongly and was tested over a 19 hour period and kept near perfect time, maybe lost 10 to 20 seconds. May need a service though as when winding, the winder pulled out of the stem. The outer Fays Senior Coin (silver). Case is 58.4mm in diameter with serial number U3076. The inner case is 50.2mm in diameter, same serial number U3076 but is not stamped silver.
