The dial is clean with no hairlines, you can see in the pictures. The glass is new. Winds and sets smooth. The case looks good, has a few small dents and dings, which is normal for its age. A very hard to find Ruby grade nickel Springfield Hampton antique key wind key set pocket watch. Movement is not running but looks complete and I think has a good balance but it is over banked. Very interesting repeating serial number 167167. Dial is the original Hampden watch company key wind early dial and is in very nice condition but does have one faint hairline and an edge chip by the 7. Nice original spade hands. Elgin early key wind key set antique pocket watch. Movement is an unusual movement that it is a Keywind movement that is made of nickel or half nickel. Grade 87 model 1 made an 1881. Watch is well over 140 years old. Watch Runs but I have not checked it for time keeping. Dial is a nice original glass enamel dial that is in very good condition. Nice snap back and bezel nickel silver original case. Movement serial number 877370. Watch is fully jeweled on the back plate and I believe it’s an 11 jewel watch.
