Elgin 1881 Pocket Watch, Odd Nickel MVT 18s, keywind & Key Set Keywind Case Runs

Elgin early key wind key set antique pocket watch. Movement is an unusual movement that it is a Keywind movement that is made of nickel or half nickel. Grade 87 model 1 made an 1881. Watch is well over 140 years old. Watch Runs but I have not checked it for time keeping. Dial is a nice original glass enamel dial that is in very good condition. Nice snap back and bezel nickel silver original case. Movement serial number 877370. Watch is fully jeweled on the back plate and I believe it’s an 11 jewel watch. This will make a nice watch for the Elgin collector or for a Civil War reenactor. Please see pictures for more information and condition.
