Even though it is running it may need to be cleaned and serviced before use. The case is only marked with A. W. Co.. It has some scratches, dings and discoloration. The crystal has some scratches and mold marks but looks good. The fancy hands look good. The bow is discolored and the crown is worn. The serial number 3435642 dates this watch to circa to 1887. Hamilton 16 size 956 17J Pocket Watch in Nice Railroad Case. 17 jewel Hamilton grade 956 pocket watch. Stem wind and pendant set. Watched is housed in what appears to be the original Scepter yellow gold-filled railroad style case. Watch is running strongly as I write this and sets fine. You must push down in crown while winding to get stem to engage, but it winds smoothly. Nickel plates nice and bright. Case has a ring of brass on edge of back cover, case threads are good, a nice solid case overall. Original porcelain dial has edge chip at 4 and several light hairlines. Please see my other auctions. Heavy attractive 6 Size Multicolored Case With mine cut Diamond. A very attractive Elgin Hunter Case Pocket Watch. A very nice condition multicolored ladies 6 size Elgin Pocket Watch. Case has nice multi color that is still very sharp in multiple colors of raised gold on case. Case has a fairly good-sized I believe mine cut diamond on the back. Case is a 20 year Philadelphia Watch case company case and opens and closes well case has no brass and is in nice shape. Movement is a 15 Jewel Elgin that runs great but does not want to set so will need some servicing. Nice porcelain dial has a faint hairline. Nicely Damaskeening Nickel Movement. 1915 Hampden, Canton Ohio U. 18 size, 17 jewels pendant wind set antique pocket watch in excellent looking & running condition. The watch was professionally serviced recently, runs strong and keeps good time. The serial number on the Model 3 full plate movement is 3034851 which dates it to 1915; it has 17 jewels, a micrometric regulator, a patented safety pinion, intricate damaskeening and fancy gold washed lettering. The original porcelain enameled single sunk dial is in good condition, has a small chip near the bottom. The deep blued steel hands are in excellent condition. The Keystone Watch Case Co. Polished Silveroid (nickel silver) case is in excellent original condition, no dents or monogram. The hinges are good and the covers shut tight. The brass bow and nickel plated crown are in very good original condition. The new old stock amber colored acrylic crystal is in fine condition. The case measures approximately 2-3/16 inches in diameter (not including the bow & crown) x 3/4 inch thick including the crystal. This is a nice restored antique timepiece for your collection and use, also makes an excellent gift! My pictures have many unavoidable shadows, reflections and some dust spots that will be cleaned; the watch looks fine in person!
