992B w/Model 9 Case. 16 size 21 jewel open face lever-set Grade 992B pocket watch. An attractive example which is highlighted by a scarce Hamilton Model 9 gold-filled factory case. This Model 9 case style was made by Star Watch Case Co. For Hamilton in the 1940s and was not well known to the collecting community until an example with original box was discovered a few years ago that identified the style as Model 9. Interestingly the Model 9 number had previously been used by Hamilton for a different case style made in the 1920s/30s by Fahys which is also rare. Movement is nicely finished with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, gold center, striped pattern nickel damaskeen, and an Elinvar balance assembly. Dial is sunk-seconds enamel. Movement serial number is C58924. Running and a nice looking movement with excellent color and luster. Dial is beautiful with only a few mild glaze scratches within its seconds-register. Case is attractive with a strong in hand look and feel but is showing light wear with some very narrow slivers of wear to brass to its band. Scarce 1892 Waltham Vanguard 17 jewel 18 size hunting case model 92 with Serial# 6026644. Dial and hands are in good condition. No chips or hairlines. The watch winds, sets and runs properly. These area very scarce version of the model 92 Vanguards.

Circa 1919 Waltham Riverside Model 1894 Pocket Watch 12 size 19 Jewel Gold filled Wadsworth Pilot case has been in my family for many years. On the back runs well and accurate. Face has some discoloration as shown, I have not tried to clean it beyond using a small brush on the face. Crystal is clean and clear.

I have up for sale a nice antique / vintage original 1912 Elgin Men’s 16 Size 14K Gold Filled J BOSS Crescent Case Pocketwatch. The serial number on the movement is 16889607 which dates it to circa 1912, Model 7, Grade 313, 15 Jewel, Pendant Wind & Set, 16 size Pocket Watch. The case was made by Keystone, its a J BOSS 25 Year 14K Gold Filled. The watch runs – winds easily and sets as it should. The stem pulls rather hard but it works. The watch starts right up after a good winding, runs but has not been checked for accuracy. There is some brassing to the gold on the back of the case. The back of the case is monogrammed as you can see. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. Antique Hampden Watch Co. Pocketwatch movement comes in a 25 year guaranteed gold filled case. Serial number 577032 dates the movement to 1889, and it is a 7 jewel, 6 size, Model 3, grade 200 lever set movement. Case is pretty nice; the spring mechanism works and backs snap firmly. Crystal is pretty excellent, but dial has a hairline crack at center to 5 o’clock. Movement runs and lever set works. There’s an issue with winding; when you back wind, the time is changed despite the lever being in. If you don’t back wind it winds fine without changing time. See photos for more details.
