Antique Elgin National Watch Co. Pocket watch, serial number 3226757, dating to circa 1889. This is an 18 size, Grade 27, 7-jewel movement with “Safety Pinion, ” housed in a Keystone Silveroid case (serial 8006363). The watch is in good running condition and comes with a period chain. Maker: Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. Movement: 18 size, Grade 27, 7 jewels, full plate. Case: Keystone Silveroid (nickel alloy, guaranteed genuine), serial 8006363. Dial: White porcelain with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Condition: Runs well, light wear consistent with age, no major damage. A beautiful example of a late 19th-century American pocket watch – perfect for collectors, display, or daily carry. 55mm across (standard 18s size).

This is a very interesting case that was designed by Fritz Mink for the Keystone W. C. Co. I realize the cowboy is rough but he gives the case character. It is truly rare in this condition. Please get ahold of me with questions. Pendant set only, I believe. It is a 3 pcs. Case and will work for lever or pendant set movements. Both covers unscrew and the bezel has an NOS crystal. Case: Open face, pendant set. Outside D: 56 mm. Please use the photos as a big part of the description and please contact me with any questions.
