Up for sale is beautiful silver fancy hunter case pocket watch made for the Chinese market, lever escapement movement, watch is in running condition but accuracy not timed. Movement : Key wind key set. 3/4 plate lever escapement in working condition but accuracy not timed, compensation balance with blue steel hairspring, balance staff is OK, 15 jewels. (Does NOT comes with key). The top plate & 3 screws on the mainspring barrel seems not original? So it may need minor adjustment/repair. Overall a beautiful pocket watch with a unique fancy case, believe that it will be a stunning great and beautiful gem after cleaning /minor repair and adding back a suitable glass. I looked up the serial number on the internet and it said it was from 1897. I wound the watch a little and nothing happened. I don’t want to overwind it so I didn’t wind it more.
