This is a Cut-Away Dial in big, Heavy Silveroid Case, ita an Hampden Pocket Watch. You can watch the gears turn as you wind and set your watch. Its a 15 jewel movement, 18SZ Runs good. It was just serviced, cleaned and oiled, keeps good time. The #s on the movement are, 370644 made in 1885. This is a big watch, it measures from side to side 58.3 mm. The dial is clean with a couple of hairlines, you can see in the pictures. The glass is new. Winds and sets smooth. The case looks good, has a few small dents and dings, which is normal for its age. This is an antique (circa 1896) Hampden Special Railway 17J pocket watch with 18s gold filled Hunter case. Its condition is consistent with its age. The hunter case is operational; it opens and shuts as it should. The outer back lid is marked “Dueber Canton O USA trade mark 3347397″. The inner back lid is marked “Guaranteed to be made of 10 Karat Gold over hard metal and to wear for 20 years”. It has the same trade mark number as the outer lid. This piece has a Roman Numeral dial. All three hands are intact, however the hour hand is slightly bent. Dial has some minor signs of wear, mainly dirt/grease accumulation.
