For sale is a Jules Jergensen Copenhagen Pocket Watch. This is one absolutely stunning pocket watch. This watch has been previously owned, but is running great. We had this watch serviced just before listing the watch. The watch was cleaned and lubricated. All functions are working as intended. This watch is free of any aftermarket engravings. All marks on this watch are those which came from the factory. This watch features a full hunter case composed of 18kt yellow gold. The exterior of the case has the factory machine turned finish though it is slightly faded. The pattern is still clearly visible. The Inside of the back of the case reads: “K18 JJ 11260″ The exterior of the Dust Cover reads: “S 11260 Jules Jurgensen Copenhagen Patent 1867 January 15″ The inside of the dust cover has a black marker writing from the watch maker that serviced this pocket watch. The Movement is the Jules Jurgensen Movement and is also signed and has the matching serial number, 11260. The crystal of this watch is free of any imperfections. The dial of this watch is enameled and is in incredible shape. There are no cracks or imperfections. 14k GOLD LEON SICHEL CHAUX-DE-FONDS SWISS POCKET WATCH. I believe this is a Swiss watch, but it is not marked for the country of origin. The watch is key wound and I have two keys for it–one that fits the winder better and one that sets the time better. The watch is in running condition but is not keeping accurate time and will no doubt require adjustment. It is about 1-3/4 in diameter. The monogram medallion has not been personalized. The watch case tests strong at 14k and starts to fade a bit at 18k, so I’m listing it as 14k when it may be a higher purity. It is not marked with the gold purity, which is typical of jewelry and watches from the 19th century. The watch is marked with (the presumed) serial number 27233, Leon Sichel and Chaux-de-Leon. It has a white face, secondary second dial and beveled crystal. This watch has no visible damage. The hinges open and close properly. This watch has a gross weight of 56.8 grams.
