The inner case with the watch size is 51 m. All the hinges and clips work well on the cases. The enamel dial in very good condition. THE DIAL IS A VERY RARE REGULATOR WITH HOUR, DATE , MOONPHASE, SECONDS DIAL AND SWEEP SECONDS HAND THAT CAN BE STOPPED BY MOVING THE SLIDER AT THE SIDE BY THE NUMBER 45 SO THAT WOULD ALSO MAKE THIS A DOCTORS WATCH. Very fine black hands that are all original. To set the time you turn the sweep hand. The you move the date and moonphase gently moving with your finger. The glass is very high bull nose clean and clear. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop. The watch runs well. Time keeping C + or 1 – 2- minuets per hour. With a very very fine decorated and engraved balance cock, a silver Tompion regulator. Signed on the back plate JOHNSON LONDON. The watch will come with a key. Just great to have such an amazing and interesting watch that is as good as this one, and it just has every thing one could want on a fine verge watch, very hard to find a watch in this condition with all that it has going for it. 1890 METAL CASED GOLIATH TRIPLE CALENDAR MOONPHASE 15J SWISS LEVER POCKET WATCH. Antique Circa 1890 metal cased Goliath Triple Calendar Moonphase pocket watch in full working order. The dial is white /cream enamel with black Roman numerals and gold coloured fancy hands with 4 sub-dials. The movement is clean with a 15 jewelled Swiss lever escapement and is in good working order with a good strong tick keeping good time. It winds and sets smoothly and is button wind and pin pillar set. Please note all of the quick change pins for the day date etc are working well. The back cover is marked to the inside Acier Garanti and the number 11213. The case is clean and bright and has worn as to its age with all the covers closing nice and tight.
