Elgin Pocket Watch 18 Size 15j in Fahys Montauk Gold Filled Case – CH178. Even though it is running it may still need to be cleaned and serviced before use. The balance is good. It is a stem set movement. The Fahys Montauk Gold Filled case has some scratches, dings a small spot of brassing on the body. It has an initial “H”. The bow is brassy. Both front and back covers screw on and off. The dial has some light hairlines and scratches but overall looks very good. The crystal has some scratches but looks good. The serial number is 19245910 dates it to circa to 1917. The case is about 2-1/16 in diameter, not including crown or bow.
